Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 5 October 2026

Please read these Terms carefully. They explain how Vantis Guard works, your subscription and cancellation rights, and the limits of GPS tracking technology. Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

1. About us and the service

These Terms apply to Vantis Guard GPS, provided by Vantis Guard GPS Ltd (“Vantis Guard”, “we”, “us”), company number 17498901, of 25 Green Moores, Telford, TF4 3TB, United Kingdom. You can contact us at info@vantisguardgps.com.

They cover:

  • GPS tracking hardware supplied by us
  • Customer accounts
  • Monthly subscriptions
  • GPS tracking services, including vehicle and asset tracking
  • Our website and app services
  • Alerts and notifications
  • Journey and history information
  • Location-sharing features

2. Your account

You may need to create an account to use Vantis Guard. You are responsible for:

  • providing accurate account information and keeping it up to date;
  • keeping your login details secure;
  • not knowingly allowing unauthorised people to access your account; and
  • telling us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.

We may take reasonable security measures to protect customer accounts and the platform.

3. Subscriptions and cancellation

Vantis Guard subscriptions are monthly rolling, with no minimum-term contract.

  • You can cancel your subscription at any time.
  • Cancelling stops your subscription renewing for another billing period.
  • If you have already paid for the current billing period, your service is not switched off straight away. Your subscription and tracking service stay active until the end of the period you have paid for.
  • At the end of that paid period your subscription becomes inactive unless you renew or reactivate it.
  • There is no cancellation charge.

4. Subscription refunds

If you choose to cancel part-way through a monthly billing period you have already paid for, we do not offer a pro-rata refund for the unused part of that period. Instead, you keep receiving the service until the paid period ends.

This does not remove or limit any statutory cancellation, refund or other consumer rights you have. Where UK law gives you a right to cancel or receive a refund, that right takes priority over this section.

5. GPS tracker hardware

We supply physical GPS tracking devices. We do not offer an additional voluntary manufacturer’s warranty. You keep all of your statutory rights for goods that are faulty, not of satisfactory quality, not fit for purpose or not as described, under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

Nothing in these Terms removes or restricts your statutory consumer rights.

6. Your cancellation and return rights for trackers

We do not offer a change-of-mind return period beyond your legal rights. Your rights are:

Changing your mind (online purchases). If you are a consumer buying online, under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 you can normally cancel within 14 days of the day you receive the tracker, without giving a reason. You must then return the tracker within 14 days of telling us you are cancelling. We will refund the price paid, including standard delivery, within 14 days of receiving the goods back (or proof you have returned them). Unless we tell you otherwise, you pay the cost of returning the goods, and we may reduce your refund if the tracker’s value has fallen because you handled it more than needed to check its nature, characteristics and how it works.

Faulty or not as described. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, if a tracker is faulty, not of satisfactory quality, not fit for purpose or not as described, you may be entitled to reject it for a full refund within 30 days. After that, you may be entitled to a repair or replacement and, if that fails or is not possible, a price reduction or refund. These rights apply in addition to the change-of-mind right above.

Subscription services. If you ask a subscription to start during the 14-day cancellation period for that service and then cancel within that period, we may deduct a proportionate amount for the service already provided, as the law allows.

To use any of these rights, contact us at info@vantisguardgps.com.

7. Trackers and vehicles

You are responsible for installing and using your Vantis Guard tracker appropriately and lawfully, and following any installation or usage instructions we supply. A tracker may depend on:

  • device power, internal battery power or vehicle power (where applicable);
  • GPS/GNSS reception;
  • mobile network availability and SIM/data connectivity;
  • internet connectivity;
  • correct installation; and
  • the condition of the hardware.

8. GPS accuracy and service availability

GPS tracking technology has inherent limitations. Vantis Guard relies partly on technology and infrastructure outside our direct control, including:

  • GPS/GNSS satellites;
  • mobile networks, SIM and data connectivity, and internet connectivity;
  • tracker hardware, battery and power;
  • buildings, underground car parks, tunnels and geographic coverage;
  • atmospheric and environmental conditions; and
  • third-party, hosting and server infrastructure.

Because of this, we cannot guarantee that positions, journey information, alerts, ETAs, notifications or other tracking information will always be instant, continuous, uninterrupted, available at all times or 100% accurate. Temporary delays, outages, inaccurate positions and gaps in tracking information can occur.

We will provide the service with reasonable care and skill, and we will take reasonable steps to restore the service when problems within our control occur.

9. Not an emergency or life-safety service

Vantis Guard is not an emergency, personal-safety or life-safety service.

You must not rely solely on Vantis Guard where someone’s health, safety or an immediate emergency response depends on continuous tracking. In an emergency, contact the appropriate emergency services (999 or 112 in the UK).

10. Alerts and notifications

Alerts such as movement, ignition, towing, shock, geofence, battery or other tracker notifications depend on the tracker, connectivity, network availability and associated infrastructure. An alert may occasionally be delayed, unavailable or not delivered, and we cannot guarantee real-time delivery of any notification.

11. Lawful use

You are responsible for making sure your use of Vantis Guard is lawful. You must have the necessary ownership, authority, permission, consent or other lawful basis to install and use the tracker and to use the resulting location information.

You must not use Vantis Guard for:

  • stalking or harassment;
  • unlawful surveillance, or tracking anyone where doing so is unlawful;
  • criminal activity;
  • interfering with another person’s legal rights; or
  • any other unlawful purpose.

Business and fleet customers are responsible for complying with applicable privacy, employment and data-protection law when tracking employees, drivers or other individuals.

12. Account security

You must not knowingly:

  • share your password with unauthorised people;
  • allow unauthorised access to your tracking account;
  • attempt to access another customer’s account; or
  • try to get around Vantis Guard security systems.

Please tell us promptly if you believe your account or tracker access has been compromised.

13. Payments

Subscription charges are collected at the price and billing frequency shown when you subscribe. You are responsible for providing valid payment details. If a payment fails, we may retry it where our payment system supports this. If payment remains outstanding, we may suspend your subscription services after giving you appropriate notice.

14. Price changes

We may change subscription prices in the future. We will give you reasonable notice before a new price applies to a future renewal, so you can cancel before it takes effect if you wish. We will never change the price of a billing period you have already paid for.

15. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or end your account or service where reasonably necessary because of:

  • non-payment;
  • fraud;
  • serious or repeated breach of these Terms;
  • unlawful use, stalking or harassment;
  • abuse of the platform or other serious misuse; or
  • security threats, or attempts to interfere with our systems or infrastructure.

We will act fairly and proportionately. Where appropriate, we will give you notice and an opportunity to put things right first, unless immediate action is reasonably necessary for security or legal reasons or because of serious misuse.

16. Service changes and maintenance

We maintain, update and improve our software, infrastructure and services, and occasional maintenance or technical interruptions may occur. We will tell you appropriately about material changes that affect you, and we will not fundamentally remove or change a service you have already paid for without good reason and appropriate notice.

17. Privacy and location data

Using Vantis Guard involves processing account information, tracker and device information, GPS and location information, journey and history information, and service information. Our Privacy Policy explains in full how we handle personal information and location data.

18. Our liability to you

If we fail to comply with these Terms, we are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breach or our failure to use reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for loss or damage that is not foreseeable, or for business losses (such as loss of profit or business opportunity) where you use the service for business purposes.

Because GPS tracking has the inherent limitations described in sections 8 to 10, you should take appropriate independent precautions to protect your vehicles, assets and people, and should not treat Vantis Guard as a substitute for insurance, physical security or emergency services.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, for breach of your statutory consumer rights, or for anything else that cannot be excluded or limited by law.

19. Intellectual property

The Vantis Guard name, branding, platform, software, interface and design, and all associated intellectual property, are owned by Vantis Guard or its licensors. While your account and subscription allow access, you may use the Vantis Guard service for its intended purpose.

20. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may also bring proceedings in your local courts, and you keep any mandatory protections of the law where you live. If you have a complaint, please contact us first at info@vantisguardgps.com and we will try to resolve it fairly.

21. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms when reasonably necessary, for example because of changes in law or to our services. We will give you appropriate notice of material changes that affect you, and we will not impose significant new obligations retrospectively. The date at the top of this page shows when they were last updated.

22. Accepting these Terms

When you create an account, you will be asked to confirm that you agree to these Terms & Conditions and acknowledge our Privacy Policy. We record the date and time of your acceptance and the version of the Terms you accepted.
